Little White Devils

Ah, it's been quite the fun few days here at Casa Del Hansen. All our cats are some sneezin', mopin', not-gonna-eat whiners. It seems that the three newcomers came with an extra: colds (not a bug, it's a feature). Like the pilgrims bringing smallpox to the Native Americans, in no time flat our two big babies caught it. Not fun. A couple of trips to the vet later, and they're all on antibiotics. But they do seem to be on the mend, so I forgive the little guys. They didn't mean to do it. Now if we can just get them to stop sneezing in our faces, I'll be happy.

In other news, Tim now longs for a plush Cthulhu of his own. And who can blame him? Plush Cthulhu is so cuddly it's crazy. Oh, wait.

Finally, Wednesday is the one hundred anniversary of the invention of the air conditioner. I heard Andy Duncan once credit that little wonder to the biggest engine of change in Southern culture. He's 100% right. And elsewhere in the country, besides. For instance, I think Greg would kill himself if he didn't have it...
